Jack Arbiser

Jack Arbiser is the Thomas J. Lawley Professor of Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine. He also works as a Staff Physician in the Dermatology department of the Atlanta VA Medical Center and serves as a member of the Winship Cancer Institute. Arbiser’s clinical specialties include lichen planus, melanoma, and other types of skin cancers, and his research focuses similarly on the signal transduction pathways in cells that elucidate the function and growth of cancers. During his prolific career, he has been involved in numerous clinical applications, authoring 10 patents of his own. He was recognized for his academic excellence with membership in the American Association for Cancer Research and with the Senior Research Award from Emory University.
