Jennifer Gooch

Jennifer Gooch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine’s Renal Division at the Emory University School of Medicine. She primarily studies signal transduction pathways in cells, using methods from biology to identify the mechanisms that guide cell- and tissue-specific processes. Her lab takes particular focus on kidney research, studying the compound calcineurin phosphatase in order to draw out results regarding diabetes patients and transplants recipients. Over the course of her career, she has authored 4 patents.
