Erwin Van Meir is a professor at Emory University Department
of Neurosurgery and the director of Laboratory for Molecular Neuro-Oncology. His
research has been centered on translational cancer research with a more recent
focus on metastatic uveal melanoma. His lab group has been working on understanding
the molecular basis for tumor development and devising novel therapeutics to
improve patient survival.
