Muralidhar Padala is an assistant
professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and the director of the
structural heart research and innovation laboratory at Emory University. His
research studies the mechanics of valvular heart disease, heart failure, and
atherosclerosis through the use of bench and pre-clinical models.
