EU103 – Polyclonal Antibody against Protein Arginine N-Methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1)

Application

Western Blot

Specificity

Rat and mouse PRMT1

Subtype

Rabbit polyclonal

Technical Summary

Protein arginine N-methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) is an enzyme that functions as a histone methyltransferase. Methylation via PRMT1 plays an important role in the regulation of many biological processes. PRMT1 is responsible for the majority of cellular arginine methylation activity. The antibody available was produced using purified protein of 6xHis-tagged rat PRMT1 instead of a peptide sequence. The dilution of the serum is 1:1000 and the dilution of the purified antibodies is 1:10,000.
