Pike-A Polyclonal Antibody (Non-Phospho)

Applications
  • Western Blot
  • Immunohistochemistry
Specificity

Mouse PIKE-A

Subtype

Rabbit polyclonal

Technical Summary

PIKE-A is a ubiquitously expressed GTPase. Expression of PIKE-A enhances Akt activity and promotes invasiveness of cancer cell lines, while knockdown of PIKE-A decreases Akt activity and increases apoptosis. PIKE-A overexpression can mediate cell transformation, proliferation and migration remain and its overexpression is observed in various human cancer samples. The antibody available is against PIKE-A, specifically a part of the peptide sequence of His-PIKE-A. This antibody is non-phosphorylated. The protein concentration of the serum is 5-10 mg/ml.
