Gari Clifford

Gari Clifford is a Professor and the Chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics in the Emory University School of Medicine. He is recognized as an international figure in applications of machine learning to medical technologies, as attested by his Honorary and Guest Professorships at the University of Oxford and Tsinghua University. His research primarily focuses on using machine learning and signal processing techniques in order to increase the accuracy of medical devices while simultaneously reducing their costs, with additional interests in using critical care data analysis for the same purposes.
